Refunds & Returns Policy

At Willard Africa, we aim to provide high-quality vehicle batteries and excellent customer service. This policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns and refunds, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or refund under the following circumstances:

  • The product is defective or faulty

  • The product is damaged during delivery

  • The incorrect product was delivered

  • The product does not meet the advertised specifications

All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.


2. Change of Mind Returns

Due to the nature of vehicle batteries, change of mind returns are not accepted once the product has been installed, used, or removed from its original packaging.

Unused and unopened batteries may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to inspection and approval. Original delivery fees are non-refundable.


3. Non-Returnable Items

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Batteries that have been installed or used

  • Products damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, or negligence

  • Products returned without original packaging or accessories

  • Clearance or discounted items (unless faulty)


4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Failure to report damage within 24 hours may affect eligibility for a return.


5. Return Process

  1. Email supportwillardafrica@gmail.com to request a return authorisation.

  2. Do not return any item without approval.

  3. Once approved, return instructions will be provided.

  4. All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.


6. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.


7. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If an exchange is not available, a refund may be issued at our discretion.


8. Warranty Claims

Some vehicle batteries include a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims require:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Battery testing confirmation

  • Compliance with manufacturer usage guidelines

Warranty claims are not covered under change-of-mind returns.


9. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to a fault, damage, or incorrect item, Willard Africa will cover return shipping.

  • For approved change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
